There is a changing of the guard at Northfield’s LFS!
After nearly a decade, Aquatic Pets Plus is closed its doors, but not before handing off the torch (and its fish) to Indoor Fins LLC. Don’t worry, we’re still small! Just two owners.
We’re looking forward to updating this store while still keeping its small-town charm.
We now specialize in small fish and aquatic plants. But we still carry some larger fish, like yoyo loaches, and supplies for your ‘herps’, including live crickets and mealworms.

What's new at the shop?
Betta rack 1.0 is complete and as of February 22, 2025 all of our bettas are out of those cursed little cups and into either 2.5 gallon tanks or larger community tanks (with suitable, non-nippy tankmates)!
In the last month we also began carrying Aquarium Co-op products, live wingless fruit flies, vinegar eels, and mealworms. Oh! And we have stickers (from Aquarium Co-op)! We have tons of driftwood and stone for all your aquascaping needs. Plus, we carry handmade ceramics for aquariums.
Organizing our dry goods is ongoing. Our next big project is less visible, but we’re updating how we manage water at the store.

We are in the same spot Aquatic Pets Plus was, right between The Robin’s Egg and Antiques of Northfield. Across the street from Hogan Brothers and The Hideaway.

Tues-Fri 12pm-6pm
Sat 10am-6pm
Closed Sunday and Monday
